    The Brenda Anvari Skin Tonic is fabulous, the original one is Rose from Rose Absolute essential oil, the second one that came along was Lavender also from the essential oil. It's also a Hydrolat - which is the water from the essential oil distillation. High pressure is passed through the plant material and flowers at a temperature resulting in a steam collection of beautiful oil flower water, full of plant therapeutic properties and scent.

         They are both calming, soothing, softening refreshing and cleansing, but the rose one is for every skin type while the lavender is more for troubled skins, combination and even oily, it's great because it won't dry you out unlike alot of those astringenty types.

Alot of people don't use skin tonics, I don't know if it's because they don't know which one to chose, or if they are a bit worried about them, or if they just think it's another step that they can't be bothered with. But they are SO wrong. It really does make all the difference to your skin. Lighter, brighter and totally clean. Just rinsing your cleanser off won't remove all the last traces, then you'll just be putting your moisturiser on top of your old cleanser, won't you?
So it's Ideal to use as a quick stand alone morning cleanse, or after cleansing to remove the last traces of cleanser. Either way it's a must in your skincare routine!
